Anna Fox

Hi, my name is Anna, and I am working towards receiving my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Saint Mary’s University. I have a background in working with children with autism spectrum disorders and their families, which has taught me how important it is to be on a family’s team. I strongly believe that you are the expert of your life and I am privileged to hear your story. The models of Marriage and Family Therapy I am most drawn to are Collaborative, Structural, Narrative, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, friends, and dog, listening to audiobooks, swimming, and gardening.

Darcy Samek

My name is Darcy, and I am a second-year student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I will graduate in August of 2021. I received my undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Minnesota. Prior to that I earned a degree in court reporting and was a freelance court reporter for many years. Through that experience I saw firsthand how underserved and marginalized people received less than optimal outcomes due to an inability to afford competent counsel. Because of this background, I would ultimately like to work with underserved populations who also find themselves navigating the legal system. I am drawn to collaborative and narrative theories but remain open to multiple other approaches. When not attending classes or interning at Relationships, I enjoy spending time with my son, traveling, politics, activism, and volunteering in my community.

Ambriel Fulghum

Hello, my name is Ambriel Fulghum. I am in the process of obtaining my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.

The Marriage and Family Therapy models that I am particularly drawn to are Bowenian, Systemic, Collaborative and Experiential. That being said, I believe each individual and couple/family system are unique and it is important to select the model that best fits for them.

I believe individuals, families, and couple systems are the experts on their lives, and I aim to work collaboratively to ensure that therapy feels meaningful and progressive. Regarding relationship therapy,  I believe that love is not finite and there are many ways to be in relationships. My goal is to provide a safe space for people to explore, process, establish, and maintain the connections and relationships that work for them.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, time in nature, and leisure time with my family and dog.

Tori McCabe
